The Town of Montezuma proudly added another Historic Roadside Marker today funded by the William G. Pomeroy Foundation. Plans are to invite descendents of  John Gilmore, Wm. Bell and James Weston to a dedication ceremony next year. This marks the third roadside marker received through the Foundation’s Roadside Marker program.

Preservation reminds us that the world does not revolve around just us or our generation, but that the contributions of the people who lived here before us and those who will follow are also important. Gratefully, we have this opportunity once again to use use the church as a unique historic resource for our community.
